Robert Brandt

Nice to meet you...My name is Bob Brandt and I first joined the Navy many years ago, just out of high school in fact.. For a short time, I decided I would give the Army a try which was during the late 60's. Civilian life seemed more appealing so I served with the reserves and the National Guards a few years during that time....and later re-entered the Navy and decided to I'd retire there. I have spent most of my years on one ship or another and visited many countries around the world. The Persian Gulf, the Red Sea during Desert Storm. Desert Shield was our playground. I am currently assigned to USS John L. Hall FFG-32 (fast frigate guided) home port Naval Station Pascagoula, Ms. This is where I hope to remain, retiring in just over 2 years with 30 years of military service. My personal thoughts are while I wouldn't take anything for the memories, experiences, good and bad, if I had to do it again....depends on when you ask me. Welcome Home Vietnam Vets, I salute you!!
